DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
An Architect's rigour, an artist's eye
Spaces that feel composed rather than assembled.
Radhika Utpat is an architect who is an artist. That double training shows in every project — in form, in material, in how a room is finished — across private homes, workplaces and developers' experience centres.
“The material palette reflects a raw yet refined aesthetic.”
Office Snapshots, on Concrete Works
“An artistically experimental space where functional art takes center stage.”
The Design Collective, on the Unnikrishnan Residence

HOW WE WORK
Strategy before style
We start with what the space has to do, and only then with how it looks.
Listen
01
Your brief, your constraints and your concerns: how you live or work, what must stay, and what you would rather not spend. Nothing is proposed until this is clear.
Strategy
02
What the project must solve, where the budget will be felt, what can stay as it is, and how the work is phased around your life or business.
Plan
03
Then the functional layout: light, flow, storage and flexibility, planned for how your needs will change, not only for today.
Design
04
Only then references, materials, colour, light and detail, resolved together into a space that is practical, personal, and more than you thought it could be.

IN THEIR WORDS
“Taking a moment to convey my sincere and immense gratitude and admiration for the great work you have done at our Yoo Pune home. Every day I find something new to appreciate. The attention to detail and nuance in your choices is very clear.”
Sidharth Unnikrishnan, Yoo Pune
“Our home looks so so good, classy, elegant… not a single corner is tacky or gaudy.”
Madhu Unnikrishnan, Yoo Pune
Design Strategy
The usual first step. A short, paid study of the space: what it must solve, where the budget should go, the layout direction and the phasing. Credited in full against the design fee if we go on together.
Sales and amenity spaces
Experience centres, show flats and amenity spaces for developers and their project teams, delivered to a launch date.
Homes and workplaces
Interiors and architecture, from the brief to the styled space, with fixed site visits through the build.

THE STUDIO
Interiors and architecture, with an artist's eye
Radhika Utpat
Architect & artist, founder
Radhika Utpat is an architect and interior designer with a Master of Architecture from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. She began her career on luxury residences and architectural projects in Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai, and was named one of Architectural Digest India's Under 30 Designers to Watch in 2016.
She is also an artist and brings an artist's sensibility to her design work: a close eye for proportion, colour and material, and for how a space feels to the people who live or work in it.
Every project is led by Radhika, from the first conversation to the last site visit.
M.Arch, CEPT University · B.Arch, Dr. BN College of Architecture, Pune — Best Thesis 2013Named one of Architectural Digest India's Under 30 Designers to Watch, 2016, for the sculptural product Morph
ART
Radhika's Artworks
Radhika’s paintings are conceptual landscapes — mountains, water and open ground built in textured washes, fine ink linework and stitched thread — exploring how we shape, mark and make meaning of the natural world. Trained as an architect, she paints the quiet tension between the land as it is and the lines we draw across it.
